UPTOWN INVITES SLAPFUNK :ROOFTOP SESSIONS AT THE SUICIDE CLUB

What is even more exciting than a great night on the eighth floor at The Suicide Club?

You already had your Friday night going on, but this Saturday night will be strong! What is even more exciting than a great night on the eighth floor at The Suicide Club? Uptown invites SlapFunk is the answer. It might be obvious but we will make it even easier for you. The extraordinary line up in a nutshell down below.

Samuel Deep is a young house-DJ and -producer, born and raised in Utrecht.

He is the founder and co-owner of SlapFunk, an infamous party host and label.

Yes, these two are brothers
and they will spin B2B tonight!

His family tree stands in the steep jungle of Surinam although Julian Alexander grew up in Slapfunk's hometown Utrecht. As a teenager he was already able to produce music with his big brother DJ/Producer Samuel Deep around. Now they are having a blast together on and off stage.

In my opinion one thing is for sure; old love never dies..

He loves the sound of the older techno but he likes to collect House records as well.

Anil feels these are like the older techno: "The tracks may be different, but for me it has the same old, deep and raw feeling to it. That's why I really like both styles. And in my opinion one thing is for sure; old love never dies...''

He found his passion for music and knows what he wants. Making music wasn't a hobby anymore, it became his life. At the age of fourteen he released his first track at Beatport. His sound is a mix between Deep- and Tech House. He became twentyone and his goal is to reach the top.

After mostly listening to Motown, Funk, Soul and HipHop he got in touch with ( illegal ) House and Techno party's. These moments revealed his vision for House music.
