UNPLUGGED: A LIVE MUSIC PROGRAM AT THE SUICIDE CLUB

Unplugged is the perfect event for those who are seeking a cultural, soulful activity with friends. Starting at 19:30, treat yourself to a dinner menu curated by The Suicide Club’s head chef, Freek. As you dine, artists from around the world will perform their poetry, spoken word, music, and other intimate forms of art.

It is not an event to invoke nostalgia, but rather a sense of shared appreciation among music lovers. Cin, the creative director at The Suicide Club, was inspired by the classic MTV music program that invited popular music artists to perform their hits acoustically for a small group. “I always kept the Lauryn Hill edition in mind,” she says.

And in between acts, we invite you to play your own vinyl records, because we want you to experience Unplugged like it’s a private show in your own living room. The Chesterfield couch, the pillows, and the carpet may remind you of that first time you listened to an album that changed your life.

Or maybe it will remind you of a cozy jazz club, or a Parisian salon in the 1960s. Unplugged is about having a relaxing evening out, with the potential for excitement.

In a place that is known for partying, Cin wants to bring live music and an outstanding menu together in a special, soulful night at The Suicide Club. She describes it as “the night you say to your family or friends ‘Come on, let’s have a nice evening out,’ without forcing yourself to go and party, but,” she smiles, “accidentally it will end up like a party, of course.”
