Feel the rhythm and tear up the dance floor with Rahaan on September 8
Saturday, September 8 will be a night of creative intimacy for house and disco music lovers.
"Rahaan is a legend from Chicago,” Cin says. She has known Rahaan’s music for a long time, and his music is sure to heart racing and your feet moving.
And what can we expect from the set on Saturday? "Good muzik and few new thing I have been working," says Rahaan.
Rahaan has yet to visit The Suicide Club from across the pond. A hero to DJs everywhere, he has been crafting disco and funky house beats since the 1980s when he and his friends shaped the House music scene in Chicago.
When asked to explain deep dish pizza to someone from Rotterdam, Rahaan says "I would have to take them to Chicago, some things can't be explained." But when asked about his favorite childhood snack, he says "grapes and cookies."
He says to prepare for a show, he will "have a good dinner, then see what records I have with me and figure out how I want to play these records."
When asked what people should expect from this experience, Cin says it’s hard to put into words, that music is something you just have to feel. “Usually The Suicide Club Invites program is for a crowd, but this one will be intimate.” Hosting two big names in one night sounds like it would be a blowout, but this will be a show for a small crowd, making it a special evening for everyone.
